Coming up from a dive at Skellig this blue jellyfish presented itself. In my mind I quickly divided the scene into four and wanted to capture as much movement as I could. The light background to the top right versus the dark background at the bottom left with the diagonally stretched tentacles in the opposite corners is what makes this image work. I lit the underside of the bell from the top right with the free swimming fish adding to the drama.
