The harbour at Derrynane was alive with these late season Jellyfish. Being careful to not get stung I managed to photograph this specimen as bright sunlight filtered through the water and illuminated the dome and mouth frills. As an artist seeing the the striking colour against the blue background is what makes underwater experiences all the more enjoyable.
