DARK SKY, MOONLIGHT AND BIOLUMINESCENT TOUR DETAILS
These are seasonal and weather dependent, and take place in the core of the Kerry Dark Sky Reserve at Derrynane. They occur during Autumn, Winter and Spring, when night-time occurs earlier. I announce these tours on my social media, so please check for details. They include a live slide show of comets and eclipses that I have photographed over the last 15 years at the reserve in Derrynane. The tour also includes nocturnal wildlife and a unique look into underwater at night showing the transformation of marine life under ultraviolet light, when they exhibit fluorescence.I pioneered dark sky tours in Derrynane and was part of the team that established the Kerry Dark Sky Reserve. When conditions are right, expect to explore the night sky, bioluminescence (autumn) and Derrynane under moonlight.
