Not a true Jellyfish but a Siphonophore (a colony of animals). I first reported the occurrence of Portuguese Man of War at Wild Derrynane back in 2015. They are very rare visitors to our shores. I collected specimens for scientists who were working on the potency of their stinging cells (Nematocysts) and in finding a cure. This image is from one of those I found whilst filming in the water.
