Walk Wild Derrynane with Vincent Hyland

Moderate walk, suitable for adults, families (kids 10+), students and educators Discover the unique flora and fauna of Wild Derrynane's (part of the newly established Kerry Seas National Park) coastal habitats. Learn about the intricate ecosystems of the woodlands, shoreline, sand dune, coastal paths and islands, guided by local expert Vincent Hyland. A two hour trek around Wild Derrynane with local resident and explorer Vincent Hyland. Exploring the area's fascinating biodiversity, geology, wildlife, marine related stories and some history this trek is engaging. We meet at Derrynane House main car park and trek uphill to the Kerry Way. From here we cross the top of the Dunraven Estate and descend to Bunavalla Pier. From here we walk the Mass Path, pay a visit to Bridies and then on to the beaches in Derrynane before heading back to Derrynane House.
