Walk Wild Derrynane with Vincent Hyland

Service Description

A gentle walk covering between 2.5km and 5km, suitable for adults, families (kids 10+), students and educators. Discover the unique flora and fauna of Wild Derrynane's (part of Kerry Seas National Park) coastal habitats. Learn about the intricate ecosystems of the woodlands, shoreline, sand dune, coastal paths and islands. Listen to local lore and hear about how the park, naturally rewilded. Your tour is guided by author and founder of Wild Derrynane and local expert Vincent Hyland. Explore the area's fascinating biodiversity, geology, wildlife, marine related stories and some history this trek is engaging. We meet at Derrynane House main car park. Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear. All of the walk is along predefined trails. A safety talk will be given at the start of the tour. Vincent is a qualified emergency first responder. All walks are fully insured.
